In addition to your suggestions, I personally would never want to be without my back-up computer, and iPad.

Both have proved to be a lifesaver – or rather event-saver – on many occasions. I typically have all contracts and BEOs, speakers presentations, internal communications, contact information, and just as Jorge suggested also music, on them easily accessible.

You never know what happens. And A/V has proven to be one of the most unpredictable components of an event to me over the past years. Stay ahead of the game!
